To See The Hidden Things
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
[6]Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
[7]But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
[8]Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
[9]But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
[10]But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
[11]For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
[12]Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
[13]Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
[14]But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
[15]But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
[16]For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:1
[1]And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1 Corinthians 4:5
[5]Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
There Are Many That Say They Are Saved, But Actually There Are Very Few That Understand And Know The Truth!!!!
Matthew 7:13-15
[13]Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14]Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
[15]Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 9:37
[37]Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Matthew 20:16
[16]So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
Matthew 22:14
[14]For many are called, but few are chosen.
Luke 13:23-30
[23]Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
[24]Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
[25]When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
[26]Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
[27]But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
[28]There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
[29]And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
[30]And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
1 Peter 3:20
[20]Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
Matthew 7:21-29
[21]Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
[24]Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26]And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
[28]And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
[29]For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Matthew 18:1-10
[1]At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
[2]And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
[3]And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[4]Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
[5]And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
[6]But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
[7]Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
[8]Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
[9]And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
[10]Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 19:20-30
[20]The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
[21]Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
[22]But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
[23]Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[24]And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
[25]When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
[26]But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
[27]Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
[28]And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
[29]And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[30]But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Matthew 23:8-13
[8]But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
[9]And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
[10]Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
[11]But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
[12]And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
[13]But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
John 3:1-10
[1]There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2]The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3]Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4]Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
[5]Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6]That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7]Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
[8]The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
[9]Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
[10]Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Acts 14:21-22
[21]And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
[22]Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
James 2:5-26
[5]Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
[6]But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
[7]Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
[8]If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
[9]But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
[10]For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
[11]For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
[12]So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
[13]For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
[14]What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
[15]If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
[16]And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
[17]Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
[18]Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
[19]Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
[20]But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
[21]Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
[22]Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
[23]And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
[24]Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
[25]Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
[26]For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
James 1:19-27
[19]Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
[20]For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
[21]Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
[22]But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[23]For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[24]For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
[25]But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
[26]If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
[27]Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 4:2-10
[2]Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
[3]Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
[4]Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
[5]Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
[6]But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
[7]Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
[8]Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
[9]Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
[10]Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
