Submission is A Form of Worship! So Beware of What you Bow Down To!!!

Submission is a form of Worship

Beware what you bow down to! Be sure that it’s Good Enough To Be Your God!

Romans 6:16-23

[16]Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

[17]But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

[18]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

[19]I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

[20]For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

[21]What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

[22]But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

[23]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 14:11-12

[11]For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

[12]So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Ephesians 3:14-15

[14]For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

[15]Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Philippians 2:8-15

[8]And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

[9]Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

[10]That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

[11]And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

[12]Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

[13]For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

[14]Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

[15]That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1 Kings 19:18

[18]Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Psalms 95:1-7

[1]O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

[2]Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

[3]For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

[4]In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

[5]The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

[6]O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

[7]For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Isaiah 45:21-23

[21]Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

[22]Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

[23]I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

James 4:6-10

[6]But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

[7]Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

[8]Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

[9]Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

[10]Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(Remember that Nobody can Serve Two Masters)

Matthew 6:24

[24]No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Romans 8:1-14

[1]There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

[2]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

[3]For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

[4]That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

[5]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

[6]For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

[7]Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

[8]So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

[9]But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

[10]And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

[11]But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

[12]Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

[13]For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

[14]For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Psalms 81:8-16

[8]Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

[9]There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

[10]I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

[11]But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

[12]So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

[13]Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

[14]I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

[15]The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

[16]He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
